We love the food (especially the desserts), very professional and friendly staff and a wonderful building with a cosy ambience even although the ceilings are so high! Watch the chefs cooking your food from your seat in the restaurant. For the cold nights, there is a huge wood-burning stove, for the sunny nights, there’s a riverside balcony. McBains is becoming a real favourite of ours.  It has an enviable location, right on the river bank with a very relaxing ambience. It's a husband and wife team offering amazing food, using the finest Scottish ingredients to create great dishes and excellent, friendly service too.  And the cheesecake is the best we have ever tasted. Riverhouse Restaurant

The Kitchen Brasserie
